At Kind Hearted Foundation, we deeply appreciate the generosity of our donors in supporting our mission. As a non-profit organization, we rely on donations to fund our charitable activities. However, we recognize that errors may occur and are committed to addressing any concerns related to donation transactions.

1. General Policy

All donations made to Kind Hearted Foundation are considered voluntary, non-refundable contributions that support our charitable programs and initiatives. However, under exceptional circumstances, we may consider refund requests, subject to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Eligible Refund Cases

Refund requests may be considered under the following conditions:

2.1 Duplicate Donations

  • If a donor unintentionally makes multiple identical donations, they may request a refund for the excess amount.
  • Proof of duplicate transactions may be required.

2.2 Technical Errors

  • If a donation is incorrectly processed due to a website, payment gateway, or system error, we will investigate and issue a refund if deemed appropriate.
  • Donors must provide transaction details, including the date, amount, and confirmation receipt.

2.3 Unauthorized Transactions & Fraud

  • If a donor identifies a fraudulent or unauthorized transaction, they should notify us within 14 days of the transaction date.
  • Refunds will only be processed if the transaction was made without the donor’s consent and is verified as fraudulent.

3. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, donors must:

  • Submit a written request via email to [contact@kindheartedlk.com] or through our official website contact form.
  • Include the following details:
    • Full Name
    • Transaction ID (from receipt)
    • Date and Amount of Donation
    • Reason for Refund Request
    • Proof of Duplicate or Unauthorized Transaction (if applicable)
  • Requests must be submitted within 14 days of the donation date.

4. Refund Approval & Processing

  • Each refund request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by our finance team.
  • If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.
  • Any transaction fees deducted by banks or payment processors may be non-refundable.

5. Policy on Recurring Donations

  • If a donor has signed up for a monthly or recurring donation and wishes to cancel, they can do so by contacting us at least 7 days before the next scheduled payment.
  • Cancellations will take effect from the next billing cycle.

6. Changes to This Policy

Kind Hearted Foundation reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and donors are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
